Sorry about the many abbreviations here – I promise to switch back to science with the next blog entry. When I had to install iTunes last year on our home network, I thought that I do not want an own iPOd in particular as it was impossible to mount it as a local drive in my favorite file manager (Total Commander). Only today I discovered that there is now a working (!) plugin that allows to view the iPOD directory in a TC window which makes podcast and music copy a snap, yea, yea. Oh, you want the link for the plugin? Here is it. It is now even the third file system plugin after sFTP and winCE.
