Lens flare correction with CS5

I have long been searching for a method to correct extreme lens flare in Photoshop (that my wide angle Nikon 17-35 tends to make). With the new content aware fill that can be accomplished in 2 minutes: just mark the flares with the lasso and add area fill, yea, yea.
