Science crowd funded?

I already wrote an earlier essay about science as crowd source enterprise. Funding initiatives and funding selection of scientific projects, however, have never been transparent to me (even with all the EU announcements and lobbying before setting out the large framework programmes).

A professional photo portfolio that loads in 0.5 and not in 5s as livebooks

With an ever growing archive of pictures, I have considered recently to buy an account at livebooks as I really like their clean flash templates.
All their demo sites, however loaded awfully slow and produced never ending traffic – both annoying factors for a visitor and inacceptable to this earth’ power consumption.
So I needed an alternative and had to bite that sour apple to reconstruct my own portfolio. (Show me more…)
