Lightroom 4 stops working under Mavericks
Under OSX Mavericks the LR sliders look strange:
This does not seems to be a real problem but also the “open file” window flashes and disappears immediately.
LR 4 is now basically worthless as I can’t import and export anymore. So I upgraded to LR 5.2., uh 72$, as LR 4 will no more be supported. Adobe even has no more an academic discount for non-cloud products, uhh. And they give my password away, encrypted but not hashed, uhhh.
It then turned out that also LR 5.2. has also the dying window issue.
The only solution is to reset the finder window options that should NEVER USE COVERFLOW. If LR can open a directory in list view, everything will be fine!
