Just recently I learned from an email by Tomas Leach, the film maker of “In no great hurry”, that Saul Leiter passed away on November 26th in New York. Leiter was one of the heroes of photography – the “most interesting of the fifties color photographers”. More about his work including a few pictures at the New Yorker and the New York Times.
