Paradox of choice

From slrlounge

In 2004, American psychologist Barry Schwartz wrote a book called the Paradox Of Choice. Part of Schwartz’s thesis was based on what he called voluntary simplicity. Its core idea is that we have too many choices, too many decisions, too little time to do what is really important. I personally can’t think of a better choice of words to describe the problem that many of us as photographers are faced with today.
