With the commercialisation and changing reward system, corresponding authors are no more corresponding. This is at least my experience with some recent publications.\u00a0Many if not most current publications go into the scientific nirvana \u00a0where not even the corresponding author is anymore interested in his own work\u00a0as it already achieved the desired “impact”.<\/p>\n\n
