{"id":12217,"date":"2019-03-14T10:47:19","date_gmt":"2019-03-14T09:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/?p=12217"},"modified":"2019-04-01T07:46:04","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T06:46:04","slug":"show-speaker-video-at-the-wall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/sciencesurf\/2019\/03\/show-speaker-video-at-the-wall\/","title":{"rendered":"Show speaker video at the wall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It took me quite some time to figure out how to transmit A.high quality, B.low latency and C.low cost video to the back wall in the speaker room even when there is no internet access.\u00a0The hardware works like that:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Panasonic\/Fuji -&gt; ANNNWZD 1m HDMI cable -&gt; CAM LINK 4K Elgato -&gt; Macbook Pro<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The CAM LINK 4K is automatically recognized as a webRTC resource without any further software. As server software I installed <a href=\"https:\/\/easyrtc.com\">easyrtc<\/a>, a low level webRTC library.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: php; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\r\ncd \/easyrtc\/server_example\r\nnode server_ssl.js\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>Using the Chrome browser\u00a0we can now open https:\/\/localhost:8443\/demos\/demo_multistream.html where I adjusted the layout using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purebuttons.com\">pure<\/a> buttons.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_12216\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12216\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/screen.png\" data-rel=\"key-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12216 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/screen-620x398.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"398\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/screen-620x398.png 620w, https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/screen-768x493.png 768w, https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/screen-779x500.png 779w, https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/screen.png 1821w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-12216\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">click to zoom<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The second window (in front) is then send full screen to the projector.
