Die meisten internationaler Surveys, ISAAC mal ausgenommen, \u00a0umfassten weniger als 10.000 Probanden oder konzentriert sich auf bestimmte Altersgruppen. Die KiGGS-Studie als bekannte, gro\u00dfe nationale Studie arbeitete im Wesentlichen mit Frageb\u00f6gen, welche die Eltern und die Teilnehmer selbst ab elf Jahre ausf\u00fcllen konnten. Kleinere nationale Auswertungen auf Basis von GKV-Abrechnungsdaten gab es bisher in der Regel nur mit thematischem Fokus auf bestimmte Erkrankungsindikationen und ohne L\u00e4ngsschnitt.
