The authors find 24% of the variability explained by season &#038; intake<!--more--> (&#038; HDL &#038; waist circumference as indicators of body fat) and 29% by genetics. This is somewhat a mystery as 24%+29% is only 53% &#8211; where are the remaining 47%?<br \/>\nIt seems that the authors are also missing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science?_ob=ArticleURL&#038;_udi=B6T8X-4MVN01D-3&#038;_user=100078&#038;_coverDate=03%2F31%2F2007&#038;_rdoc=1&#038;_fmt=&#038;_orig=search&#038;_sort=d&#038;view=c&#038;_acct=C000007458&#038;_version=1&#038;_urlVersion=0&#038;_userid=100078&#038;md5=805fa723c0887d2e6b8031eefd6fa322\">earlier work<\/a> in this area.
