Its stock is on the verge of being delisted. It shut down its in-house drug-development unit last month, only the latest in several rounds of layoffs. Last week, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2024\/sep\/18\/23andme-directors-resign\" data-event-element=\"inline link\">entire board of directors<\/a>\u00a0quit, save for <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anne_Wojcicki\">Anne Wojcicki,<\/a> a co-founder and the company\u2019s CEO.
