Just recently I received an email that JACI &#8211; the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology &#8211; has now opened an account at Facebook.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Bild-11.png\" data-rel=\"key-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wjst.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Bild-11.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"292\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3613\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At least by now, it seems that journals are <del datetime=\"2010-01-07T09:10:50+00:00\">mis<\/del>using social networks for further marketing their results  beyond the usual press releases. But do we really need that?
