And there seems to be even a <a href=\"http:\/\/ajplung.physiology.org\/cgi\/content\/abstract\/00441.2009v1\">link to allergy<\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[&#8230;] discovered in the epithelial cells of the gastrointestinal tract and are presumed to be important in the host defense against microorganisms such as parasites.
