The first one is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jinx.de\/SmartSleep.html\">Smart Sleep<\/a> which greatly enhances sleeping\/wakening time. Disabling the motion sensor (&#8220;sudo pmset -a sms 0&#8221;) doesn&#8217;t hurt but is isn&#8217;t really necessary. Mounting the SSD <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soulman.de\/noatime.html\">noatime <\/a>, however, gives a measurable performance gain.
