There are kayaks with an electrict support (<a href=\" http:\/\/www.torqeedo.com\/\">Torqeed<\/a>\u00a0here in Starnberg, that I wished to have one \u00a0yesterday at Ammersee). There are engines for ultralight planes like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.electraflyer.com\/\">Electraflyer<\/a> while I just read at <a href=\"http:\/\/science.slashdot.org\/story\/11\/07\/26\/1922252\/The-Electric-Airplane-Is-Coming?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Slashdot%2Fslashdot+%28Slashdot%29\">science.slashdot<\/a> about an electric airplance.<\/p>\n<p>The most fascinating piece, however, I have seen last Sunday at bike expo here in Munich is \u00a0a 1200 Watt kit that can be mounted on most frames of current MTBs. There is also no force to the suspension. While I expect some heavy war off on chain \/ sprocket, this needs to be tested in long-term experiments. So far, the combination with a Rohloff Speedhub hasn&#8217;t been tested while I don&#8217;t see any problem as this is been in use by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3-element.com\/\">eSpire<\/a>\u00a0for some time. Sound emission seems to acceptable but expect no silent move.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the ego kit aren&#8217;t allowed on German streets, but that may change in the next year.
