Yes, experienced researchers and not just by an\u00a0EU, agency or a local government body that relies mainly on its\u00a0common sense, its\u00a0\u00a0self-constructed evaluation scale\u00a0and influenced\u00a0by a\u00a0political agenda.<!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In response to growing concern over the inability to replicate many studies, John Ioannidis and Steven Goodman have founded a center in the Department of Health Research and Policy at Stanford University. The newly minted Meta-Research Innovation Center (METRICS) has set an ambitious agenda for itself: to identify and minimize \u201cpersistent threats to biomedical\/scientific research quality\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The internet address of the new center is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/metrics\">http:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/metrics<\/a>.
